I collected this sample on the East Strand in Portrush just after high tide, so there was plenty of seaweed and shells, left behind by the receding sea. The rougher the sea, the more debris is deposited onto the beach, this debris would be an interesting challenge to draw, paint or made into a sculpture, something to keep in mind for another day.
